This series should remind all GMs to be careful in cementing in talented goalies to their organization with astronomical contracts — nobody lasts forever.
Cory Schneider and Jonathan Quick - They played big games against each other at prep school, again in college with Schneider at BC and Quick at the University of Massachusetts, in the AHL, and now for the first time in the NHL. Jonathan’s team came out on top but there’s no denying the talent both goalies possess.
Both goaltenders were fantastic this series.

I don’t consider myself much of a sports fan, but like any Canadian, I still get excited about hockey.
(More of a pens fan myself, but they got crushed tonight so this is oddly much needed motivation).
The only foreseeable downside of LA eliminating the Canucks from the playoffs is the potential decline of the boobs on this blog.
